Kanha National Park, a photographer’s paradise

Located in Mandla and Balaghat district of Madhya Pradesh, it is a premier Tiger Reserve of India. Kanha boasts of one of the most successful conservation stories. Hardground Barasingha’s numbers had fallen to an all time low of about 50, and due to intense hard work of the forest management, the number today stands tall and close to 500. Also home to RoyalBengalTiger, Leopards, WildDogs, SlothBears, about 38 mammals, reptiles, and over 330 species of birds, Kanha stands tall amidst India’s natural heritage.

One park where one can say, that even if you do not sight a Tiger here you will not be disappointed, as the park has so much to offer.
